I wanted to do something fun, and Valentine’s Day related, for the boys’ bath time just to mix things up a bit. I cut out heart shapes from some foam sheets and put them into the tub, and then mixed up some shaving cream with purple and pink food colouring for my bugs to decorate them with.

Since we’ve been learning about colours and colour words, I also dumped a few foam letters into the tub and had M sound out and spell the colour words RED and PINK.

The best part about this activity is that cleanup is a BREEZE! Just peel the hearts off and wash the soupy Valentine mixture down the drain!
